sjaguar13
I'm thinking about buying the HT style, but when you say it's peghead style, ready for shaping, does that mean it doesn't look like the one in the picture?
smokeyjocustoms
Yes it looks like the picture. Final shaping means finishing it off with more curves and a more fancy cut to it. You of course could use it as the way it is, but it's up to you.
Brian
So glad I clicked on that I now have the jewelry on my watch list
smokeyjocustoms
That has got to be the biggest lot of jewelry ever. I got it pretty cheap. so thats why I'm starting it with no reserve. Good luck
iskim86
i noticed the headstock shape of the P-bass kit is already shaped in the picture. does it come like this or not shaped like how it says in the descriptions?
smokeyjocustoms
No, you need to shape the headstock. You know, Copyright infringements. Very simple project though. I have the BEST prices on Ebay too.

sjaguar13
So the PRS neck looks like the on in the picture, but the P-bass doesn't look like the picture?
weezerboy
from what i remember the other kits have blank headstocks too...can't remember if i got brian to cut mine or not
darren wilson
Very cool. I might have to pick up one of those PRS-type ones to experiment with. Too bad the headstocks have the tuner holes pre-drilled... i prefer straight string pull and a more compact headstock. But i suppose they could be filled and the whole thing re-cut. I'd probably convert the body to take the strings through the body instead of a stop tailpiece, too.
Sethmetal
How do you recommend to finish the HT in order to enhance the grain. Also Does saga make a kit that isn't finished with sealer??? Thanks -Seth
darren wilson
What you don't see very well in the photos is that the maple veneer is absent from the inside "carves" of the cutaways, which looks kinda cheezy in my opinion. I've seen Korean-made Dillion PRS knockoffs that were the same way. I think they definitely look better with an opaque finish on them, but that's my opinion.
