Scott Rosenberger
clockwise in small increments, after an adjustment is made it's best IMO to let the guitar sit for a few hours before evaluating
Anathema
when you say elevate you mean pick it up or anything right?! ( i feel stupid asking this question)
westhemann
evaluate, not elevate.he means after adjustment you should let it sit so the neck can move
soapbarstrat
when you say elevate you mean pick it up or anything right?! ( i feel stupid asking this question) you can play it. just keep it i tune, or at least when you're done playing it, check that it's in tune. Tune if needed. No damage can be done unless you tighten it extremely tight, or if it's a lousy guitar , making it fairly tight can cause the fret-board to start popping off (pretty rare, but I've seen it). Using the wrong size wrench can mess up the nut. Make sure you know why t-rods are adjusted, and what to look for before and after making adjustments to it. Don't use it to change string height.
