At first it sounded a little like the effect used on 'American Woman' by Steppenwolf but then the weird phaser sounding stuff kicked in.

That sounds like a fun effect.

[EDIT: Holy crap what a buttload of wicked schematics, too. I wish I knew how to build something with them... when people talk about it, it doesn't SEEM all that tricky (designing is another story)... but I haven't a clue what I'm doing. Note to self: one obsession at a time. Build the guitar THEN consider building this stuff]

I've got some really cool octave fuzz patches in my Boss GT-6, and i'm really getting into the square-wave sound. Very fat and analog sounding, and it makes a great boost in front of thick tube distortion for solos.

I can't do those wild filter sweeps, though! Cool stuff!
