  1. i like the music but far as the lyrics or singing no that much. I don't care about all this screaming, deep voice stuff anymore.
  2. gravity feed has less spitting and i think use alot less pressure cause of the down feed of the paint. To me it covers better but thats me!!
  3. i think it would have looked better airbrushed in detail of the scales to make it look more like a dragon than leaving it natural. IMHO
  4. you mentioned the 1st dip was the worst and the 3rd was better. What was the problem you had with the first dip and second one?
  5. ESP is made in Japan and LTD or made in Korea. Yeah metallica uses them. Alot of people are starting to use the LTD, and ESP brand lately. As far as jackson what just didn't feels right? Which model was it you remeber? I use to have about 7-8 Ibanez's i now own none. Most of my stuff is noe ESP, LTD, Jackson, and older Kramers. I just suggest going to your local guitar center and playing them all to find what you like the best.
  6. check out jackson or esp's you'll like them all better than a ibanez. Ibanez was my favorite untill i wrapped my hands around a Jackson DK1 or soloist. The LTD's from ESP are very nice like the MH302 or MH400
  7. so that was yours that was on ebay then Seth, i got outbid on it!!!
  8. i'm not 100% sure but i think you have to do the 4 cable method hookup and have a 2 channel head or amp, and the footswitch. Goto bossgtcentral.com and check around in the forums
  9. i have already poped the toggles and pickups out nothing or no holes have been filled. As far as original paint kramer offered them in flourescent pink so i do believe the paint is original but not the girl but could be cause of all the graphics by in the 80's. The pickups had a faded sticker on them that looks like a 86 or 88 on them.
  10. yeah i found a site called the kramer forums, a guy on there told me it was a sustainer. But every sustainer i have seen or found has alot more mini toggles on it.
  11. I just bought a older kramer guitar. Does anyone know much about this brand and how to tell what model it is. The headstock is blank. It has a floyd rose trem. The neck is a 21 fret rosewood, with white binding, and the inlays are the claw style in pearl. It has schaller tuners, 2 humbuckers, 3 knobs and the pickup selector switch is a mini toggle. switch. The serial number is F1279
  12. if its a japanese neck thru then its a SL3. They are nice but if you ever buy a SL1 or 2 or even a DK1 you'll see the difference in price and play. The necks have a different feel altogether. I just sold my SL1 EDS and i still have my SL2 yellow bengal and my SL3 sunburst. Truely the best guitars i've played.
  13. damn nice job!!! (I say) Can't wait to see more pics and the video that would be nice. I haven't done any swirling in awhile. I tried some the other week and got nothing but a disaster mess to clean.
  14. looking good what did you find out your problem was?
  15. It can be several things, different colors will spread and react different cause the color it self being thicker or thinner. The more borax you put the more and faster it will viloently spread. Water temp can make a diffence also. Blobs usually form when colors stick togerther with another one, or if they are to thick. Are you putting dark colors then light colors? The darker colors tend to be stronger and push more and will make the color veins smaller, causing it to clump some. It can be the kind of paint. What are you using?? Try thinning the darker colors some!! And put the green in last start with dark to light on the surface!!
  16. from eveything i've seen and heard if there is to much borax in the water, the borax will eat the paintaway when it hits the water causing it to disperse very rapidly.
  17. i can help you out with a M1 tiger pattern but not the kamikaze one yet
  18. well i have seen it all over newsgroup server, and i must say i have heard all of it awesome album. The best so far in my opinion. Look forward for it to come out so i can get the retail version with all the lyrics!!!
  19. This has to be the best guitar yet that i have seen on ebay!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3777794620&rd=1
  20. well i must say none of the above, my pick is the guy that hosts metal mania on vh1!!!!!!
  21. if the water hose won't do you get a 3/4 in pvc pipe or a smaller water line maybe of copper and try it!! Besides i don't think there would be a problem with the water hose and pressure anyway cause the hose would just have paint in it not pressure the pressure would be before the hose in the valve and compressor. As soon as you turn the valve all the pressure would escape with no blocking.
  22. get a water hose with a couple of feet of lenght, get a air compressor, then a water shut off valve with a big lever that you can turn easy and fast put the paint in the waterhose, let it build up about 80-100psi then pop the valve the paint will blow out like hell, and give you the splatter effect.
