    I dont think the people that buy them are idiots at all, because Spending alot of time at guitar shops playing different equitment I noticed that alot of people who buy them are beginners how think the guitars look cool, and just want to play metal and rock which is what they are made for.

    I only have two effects i actually use, reverb and the in amp distortion, although i might be getting a Kustom DFX today (peavey broke), but my friend troy has a phaser, a reverb, a chorus, a delay, a metal grunge and someother distortion, and a synth wah. I think he is the type of guy your talking about

    One probelm that I had with enamel paint was that even after severl coats of clear coat and letting it sit for a while actually6 months before touching it again, it cracks and smudges and its just looks bad, I had a metallic black strat that I painted and after a few hours of playing it, I couldnt stand how smudged it looked. So now im sanding it in my basement and Im just going to go for a franken strat look and hang it up on my wall. slain angels advice is probably your best bet, read the tut and follow LGMs instructions if you want a nice looking body

    My sister has been playing piano for the past 12-15 years so I know a little bit about the piano. Just remember, your left hand is bass and your right hand treble. I've been trying to learn a few songs and the one thig that I found to be the biggest pain in the (insert word of choice here) was playing one thing on my left hand and another on my right hand. Just start out with easy stuff and work your way up. Hope that helps

    As unorganized as I am, I'm trying to find the final two parts for my body before it arives so that I can Have them when it gets here. I'm planning on buying a book on how to do binding, and my dad is going to show me how to stain the body properly. But I'm having probelms finding Aqua blue stain. Stew mac has blue, but its to dark for the pool/ocean effect that I am going for. If anyone has bought it before or has seen it online latly, and could tell me where they got it that would rock.     Alright man thanks for the input, I know they are nice because I played one at school, but I played it through a PRS so I wasnt sure if it was the guitar or amp that sounded nice.

    This may sound dumb but why not trace a Strat body onto peice of 1/4" thick wood, and make your template from that, then once you cut the body out contour and set it up from there?

    I was thinking about a behringer or a line 6 after looking more into it, i know that line 6's sound nice but im not sure about the behringers, I think it was around 250 for a 120 watt 2x 12 which is a good buy and it had alot of effects on it. Anyone use either of the two companies amps?

    Actually I went yesterday and liked them all the drive was nice, The DFX is nice as well with the built in effects, and The kustom I think had about 14 effects in it, I mean they are all around the same price they all sound nice but Im thinking about saving up for the kustom. Chad

    Yeah well I got a hold of his mom who kicks ass and is sending me my money order back, Now the only think im debating on is after I finish my guitar what amp should I get Theres a drive 30watt for 110, A Marshall 15DFX for 160, and a Kustom 100 watt amp for I think it was 275 at my local shop.

    Ok so some guy is trying to scam me and trying to keep my 100 bux I called his house and spoke with his mom, I sent him money 3 weeks ago and he has only contacted me once, The guys a real ass too. I'm not sure what to do, I mean if worst comes to worst I can take a trip to PA and get my money or the amp or if his mom is cool both. I was thinking about giving out his email but i decided against it cause I don't want to piss him off. Any ideas Chad

    Well a few pictures would help depending on the size of the chip you can use different grqains of wood, I usually use a rough grain of about 250 when I am starting out then work my way up to i think it is 600, like i said try and get some pics.

    Well my band right now has no bassist, and so while we are recording I am switching back and forth between Bass and rythm, most of our songs only have bass and lead, or lead and rythm, so would It be possible for me to do like a double neck guitar with one half a bass and the other a guitar? I was thiking I might get like weird feedback or something might not work right. So help me out
