  2. ® strangely enough...this is alt-0714 Ê ┬↓æîñ+ûMû←←Uè▄æP▬+?+'≡δ₧á;@ES├╞╞S├S╞├â«ⁿC↑φ╩⌡ i tell you what...alt- random keypad numbers is fairly interesting
  3. hey xebryus...you get my pm? i need your email address to send you paypal
  4. hmm....ever hear "suicidal failure" by suicidal tendencies of course not. give it a listen. but i find categorizing music by it's subject line to be rather distasteful,to be honest.
  5. Man I looked this up in dictionaries just for this thread. And the dictionaries say that it's Mahagony in Britain and Mahogany in USA. Nowhere....you just invented another variation.... ← oh believe me,i didn't invent it...i just plagiarized it
  6. i think the question is "why would you want it to stay up? it gets in the way. it is supposed to hang down and swing freely.when you learn how to use it,you will just naturally grab it.it's part of the learning process. i can't think of a single trem bar virtuoso who does not let it swing free.
  7. well...they actually have it written on the back of the pots. emg volume is 5 k and tone is 25k
  8. Do you have experience in that department?? ← ask your grandma
  9. the speedloader nut installs the same as a standard floyd locking nut, except that it is a bit "deeper" from front to back. i have plans in my head for making the guitar you speak of with a speedloader fixed bridge, when they come out.i have been planning it for some time now
  10. this is good advice. i read the main site and the forum for months before i ever started asking questions. just let it all soak in for a while.and look....my opinion is that the best advice was handed out early on in many, many cases...so start at the beginning ,from the very first forum post.back then it was all knowledge and very little bickering and hearsay
  11. wood ← yeah...you are real funny.not. him:what kind of wood is a tele made from? you:wood yeah...that is brilliant
  12. i am looking on musicians friend and i see some made of virtually every type of wood, including mahogany,poplar,etc... but if you are talking about the standard tele style tone made famous by numerous artists over the years, you are definately talking ash(northern) or alder. all the other woods are a fairly new thing in the tele as far as i know
  13. have you actually looked at it?it is not paisley,it is an image of a multitude of demons(or possibly tortured souls) bathed in a sea of fire. at least that is how i see it
  14. actually ,it is the case on a guitar.common ground is grounded to input jack, which is then transferred to the amp ground, which is grounded to your house electrical system, which is grounded to the 6 foot(usually) copper rod or copper cables which are buried in the ground. if you don'tbelieve me,go outside to your electric meter and look for a copper wire running from the meter to the ground and look at what it is clamped to capische?
  15. Or you can just post the pic using the IMG tag, like this: (hahaha) ← that is a purse my ex-wife made from material my sister found at hancock fabrics about 12 years ago...i have been trying to find more like it because i wish to use it on a guitar or amp some day.no luck so far,i try to post it every now and then to see if someone has seen more like it,but i haven't in a while. so since drak was so nice as to post it,maybe someone could help me out?
  16. Very interesting. I just looked it up in a dictionary and you are right. But it seems the American language is at fault here. In German it's called "mahagoni" and in british english it is called "mahagony". ← sure, blame the americans but tell me...where is it ever called mohogany?(except by mistake, i mean)
  17. as far as i know emgs are the only pickups that come fully equipped.i would guess the reason for this is to avoid people using the same pots that came with their passives and not getting the most out of their actives
  18. yes ,but there are rules pinned at the top of this section about posting pics that you should read before trying to post. the best thing to do is to just copy and paste the url into the reply box...it automatically turns it into a link. like this http://fullservesite.com/westhemann/new%20...ictures0022.jpg
  19. yes it is mahogany...i just think that nobody these days cares about the language. spelling and grammar are not "cool" anymore(until you find yourself 40 years old cleaning out porta-cans)
  20. i doubt it would work.there is no grain to speak of for the filler to stick to
