i was going to build it this next summer. I will have a year and a half of metal work by then. Im in my robotics team so welding and metal work will be easier then. SO i just want to know a mill (cnc or not) that can be computer opperated and can cut out a guitar body. Preferably 3 demensional. Well anyone have a site with a DIY or plans for free. I just want to print it and read it so when time does come to build it i have a general idea of what im about to do.

anyone know a good site about building a CNC Mill. Sounds interseting to make. I want to make a guitar really quick because i want to start sell guitars before I graduate High School in four years. A site that shows a beginner to make a CNC Mill. Or is there a place to buy a Mill for about 500 dollars. If i make one i dont care about the price though, but i dont want to pay for the plans to make one.

MIDI is a musical tool or needs tools. I got this really good one from this site. But i cant use the song i got because its MId. instead of AWE. Anyone know a really good MIDI sequencer that uses MID. and is free

well its very confusing for me. When you say patch what is it. And i dont understand after that. Can you tell me what freeware programs can help me with this too.

what about creating a hex ebow. I mean instead or having to adjust the sustainer for each guitar, why dont you make 6 small ebows and put them together that are spaced out for each string and have a sustainer for each string at once. FEEL BETTER PSW.

well i want to know how to take the organ sounding music DATA and turn it into the instruments. How would i do that.

well im looking for a free one. I want to do this for like a cheap school project.

I have been trying to fiddle with MIDI files for the last month or so. Well, i had no luck. What i want to do is take a MIDI file i have and turn it into the instraments its supposed to sound like, then slow the song down a little. Well can someone tell me step by step on what to do and what free software to get to do that. Thanks. I did search the forum and found nothing. I know GregP already tried to explain but he used different software then me.

for me it depends on the style of music the person plays. Blues is BB king. Acoustic i say jack johnson. Rock, well rock has changed from the 80's to the 90's. There are so many great rockers. You have Vai, Clapton, Page, Halen, Wyld, and tons more. Well jimi i find as an influencial guitarest, but not one of the best. Dont have a fav of rockers because there are so many great. for jazz its probably chuck berry. Well if you consider him jazz. Its like jazz rock. Man i cant believe jimi could mess up a song until i herd him do his version of johnny be good. Chuck is way better at the song then jimi.

borders ad that book. For like 40 dollars though. They also had another one for Basses or amps, but cant remeber which one.

well the books i found at borders today were really expensive because no body in the Los Angeles Valley is really a guitar builder, hence no need for the books so they over price the ones they have. So there were i think 4 books indirectly to guitars. They were indirectly because they were matinece books. There were 2 books on building a solid body, so i got the cheaper book considering i need to get And Then There Were None for a book report. Well the title is Make Your Own Elctric Guitar & Bass by Dennis Waring and David Raymound. Its ok for a book. The Hiscock book isnt sold at my borders and we are having a little problem with the online credit card using, so it will be a while till i get the hiscock book. Well they have these cool books at borders on companys past and strong points. I saw like Marshalls history and PRS history and Gibson too. Well thats what i found here at my borders. Anybody know anyother book store chains. I dont read to many books that i buy, i go to the school library.

well lets just say i havent had experince in this electronics, but computer electronics. Well also lego robotics, but this thread i am trying to lear electronics. Um, i realized i did need more knowledge so is there an intermediate guitar electronics project that has a bill of materials and schematics that are easy for me to do. Maybe not an amp but a false sustainer box or something.

i have a tendancy to read fast then reply a lot and sometimes the thread is short on the one i previously or am reading now and i have the fast reply thing. So it helps me when im putting my 2 cents into threads.

problem is i like that plan but i would like to see pictures of how these things are done to give me an idea of how something should look at im going along. Well, im not trying to recreate the wheel like thing that PSW is doing, but would like to trail behind to see if i can improve. I cant improve if i cant see what to improve on, and can see what to improve on if i dont know how or why the thing works and built. Well thats me. I would just like to see picts of how thats made because its soundl like somthing i can do.

um. the lab thingy looks wierd. Oh whats a UV or what ever. Um im new at this. sorry. Oh and my guitar teacher taught me if i took my Zoom 606 and boosted the Comp on it with no equalizer and no noise reduction that you can create an infinate sustain. Whats with that, i mean it sounds just like PSW's system just a little less clean.

ok. When i have time im going to the electronic store anyways. well how do i find one. I cant find any kits for a preamp thats less than 300 dollars. I only have 100 to spend for a project. PSW, you dont have to answer this. Also the ebow tutorial statment i said wasnt for you but for anyone.
