    Wouldn't that give you about 142K? As I remember, the result is always lower than the smallest of the parallel resistances. Wouldn't it take a 750K in parallel with the 500K pot to get 300K? No, the 750k alone with the 500k pot would read 300k. i just checked the tut.

    Coca Cola... If I recall good, that was dissmissed as a myth on the MythBusters TV show... Good job, got a close up look... did you polished them too. I was going to suggest you sand blast them, this will also give it a more satin look if you don't like the shinny one. Grr you beat me to the mythbsters thing. But didnt they use the coca cola to remove grease and oil from that truck engine? i dont think it was rust but it mite have been.

    Well its a strat setup guitar and um 250k pots. I wired it just like it was wen i removed the stock cap. What about for 250k. i couldnt do the math

    I put it in and wen i roll down the tone knobs towards one(both of them) i can barely hear anything. and wen i turn them all the way off it acts like a volume knob and turns off the sound. Is that normal?

    Mine was a strat copy made by "Spencer". I voided the waranty the day i got it I put new tuners, pickups and i got a confederate flag pickgaurd(dont ask). I love it My first acoustic was a 1970's yamaha FG350. Its hard to play becuase the neck is warped. I should fix that
