I have no problem with giving you a template, however before I do so I would like to gage the response that I get from the finished product as I may want to register the design and shape when finished. haha well get working than , by any chance do you still have that original drawing? it looks a little different from the body for some reason, probably just because its not carved top yet. Greats job though

schecter makes a carved top teleish style body. I wouldnt mind seeing some carved top teles though i like them flat, a few here and there wouldnt be bad Link

yeah, durawoods has unreal prices sometimes, its crazy, but i dont understand why nobody bids on his stuff though.

i think the curve looks kinda akward to be honest. i like the straight edge a lot, first the guitar, almost no curves on the Bocaster so neither should there be on the pickguard

ive stumbled upon their auctions, they look like they have a nice finish to them but I think thats as far as they'll go. Even those couple of reviews on harmony central i was pretty convinced that they're not set up well. Maybe some elbow grease can make the thing work better. Dont listen to me though, just my thoughts

yeah i suggest never to buy off of romans site, they give off the vibe that they sell the most expensive things ever even though they have body blanks there that are like 40 bucks, and they price match. they're site is orginized terribly. the only good deals are in the store

well i dunno if you're talking about guitar playing, im a righty for guitars. Everything else im a lefty, I tought myself when i was like 9 when messing with my friends brothers guitars, i held it wrong at first than i corrected myself to play it righty, lefty feels weird as heck now.

Im with Jay on this one, though anyone with a cement car should be shot just kidding, i see your point. You have to have influences with the guitars around you, because nobody can pull a guitar out their a$$ and make it work perfectly. The reason why there are patented designs and styles are because they work and we take those influences. What im trying to say is that while we are trying to make our original designs, we have the semi-original ones with guitar influences. Like perry's, its like a smaller jaguar body with cool curves too it and a different pickguard. Its just that we can pull off a new design right off the top of our heads. Everyone here I know would love that abilty but it takes time. So just wait to see something you like, and Im with GuitarMaestro saying make your own design, frustrating and most of the time akward looking but when you get it, its really rewarding. For the mean time, make variations of what you love. Like Drak makes the best telecasters I've seen in my life. P.S. sorry if ive sounded incoherent and like a jerk, ive been playing videos games for hours with no sleep...insomnia sucks

holy lord, when i read the title i didnt even think it would be close to as cool as this one LGM. that is the holy grail of custom guitars. The skull is deadly. Cant wait to see the whole thing come together. Im still blown away by that thing. Great job.

haha i got the same exact thing, its a beast, i use it for everything, and if you're gonna strip a body, its a champ on sides, i recommend it to anyone

Dave, im totally with Drak on this one, best one so far, even though your work has been breathtaking. I also wanna know where you got that piece. I hope you wore protective clothing and got plenty of fresh air while working on that thing, dont want you getting sick. Great job

i personally think its one of the coolest things ive seen in awhile. a neckless guitar representing the tremel-no system. pure genius kevan, love it. i wouldnt be able to think that design up in years. thanks for showing us, hope the liscensers and the crowd love it. good luck

hey well i dunno if im late or not but this place has great looking veneers. havnt dealt with them yet but my friend says they're good to deal with, a mom and pop shop. Seems like good prices and biggg sizes incase you want to save some for later Veneer Supplies

Hey just got back home from vegas. Got some pro's and cons about Ed Roman. Pros: Fun place to walk around looking at the stuff there and the guitars that are out of reach to my budget. Some people there are real friendly, smart and know what they're doing. I was expecting Ed to be a complete jerk but he was actually a really nice guy. Cheaper than I thought it would be Cons: Rules out the a$$. Smaller than expected and also like BigD said, not really that nice. Dont really feel welcome once you walk in. Some people can be real jerks there. Well overall it wasnt what I thought it would be, though it wasnt Ed Roman that made me mad, it was some jerks that just seems like they own the city. also, Ed was probably acting real cool to me cause I hooked him up with something he ddint have. hehe it was some leather case that came with a Thin Amp I bought. I also got an Olp, great guitars for the price drop some better PUPs in and a better bridge and itll be working like a dream. I assumed I wasnt allowed to take pictures due to some weird rules, like "Turn your cell phones off". haha i dont even wanna know what happened, im assuming some kid with a cell phone was talking and tripped and knocked a wall over? haha no idea. Well I wouldnt really recommend anyone to go out of their way for this place and NEVER go there without money. Oh yeah, also, they dont have ANY import guitars. They say their crap, but they do carry the low end fenders, which we all know are getting to be pretty bad.

maybe some spalted maple, i always love seeing some of that on any guitar
