  1. Cool! Will look great in a camo finish! "Scrappy The 12 String Electric" sounds like a kids telly show. And "Strato-Master" is the coolest name ever! There are two random observations for you
  2. I'm drooling over the 2 pics on this page.
  3. Kind of reminds me of a Micheal Kelly patriot and an ESP Eclipse. Nice design and excellently excecuted.
  4. The Nighthawk looks similar, but it's COMPLETELY different. The Nighthawk has this meek and shy look on it's face, whilst yours is very aggresive. Maybe because your bridge p'up is slanted the other way... Yours is very aesthetically pleasing, especially from an 80's metal standpoint
  5. I like the second headstock, probably because I dislike any and all BC. Riches
  6. Dweezil if it's a boy, Moon-unit if it's a girl... Congrats man! Good luck on your Father-hood journey!
  7. Yes! I loved the other one! Bring on the new one! I'm feeling an angled sigle-coil sized humbucker in the neck. But now I'm just being difficult
  8. Dang, well tis better to give than to recieve! Tis the spirit of the season
  9. The way the grain moves on the side of the guitar... I can't explain it... It's so attractive...
  10. You could keep the holes and have awesome electronic configurations
  11. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool photo though...
  12. The six string is really cool, the schaller bridge (correct me if I'm wrong) has a similar look to what Ibanez uses on the RGA's. Too bad it didn't turn out as you planned but, hey, it happens.
  13. The combination of black grain filler and blue dye rocks. I'd let the clear sit for a few weeks too, better safe than sorry.
  14. Hahaha I didn't even notice untill you brought it up. The flame on that bass looks great, nice and tight. Maybe you could put the pots somewhere else on the bass, it looks really clean at the moment. That being said I'm sure pots won't ruin that cleanliness, especially if they were made of walnut like the pickup.......
  15. You why plywood rocks? Because it's dirt cheap! I have nothing technical to add but yeah, gotta love the price.
  16. Does it have to be a shortscale? 80's rock guitars are ussually based around a 25.5 inch superstrat scale. And YES, this does affect the tone. Any wood you say? I don't know where to start with suggestions
  17. Hahahahaha you must be Australian! That's what I (and everyone I know) say whenever I see something pricey in a shop. California single cuts are beautiful guitars, and yours is no different! That quilt is really something.
  18. I wasn't judging the whole group, merely recounting my experiences with my licensed one. Yeah I've played on an original, and it rocks. I also like the Edge pro series. Kahler's are my favourite locking trem though. Too bad originals aren't found on many guitars nowadays. It's all import stuff. My licensed one can't go far enough with the fine tuners to go to Dropped D, and I suspect most of it is plastic...... "Crap copy" is an understatement
  19. I have a licensed Floyed and I hate being restricted to E standard. Has crappy tone as well. And I can't play with the nut unlocked because the metal nut causes the strings to go out of tune whenever I bend a string. I've just discovered Ibanez's new SyncroniZR bridge. It can switch from from floating to non-floating with the flick of a switch. Also it doesn't have a locking nut, it has a built in intonation adjustor, a spring tension adjusting thumb-wheel..... well you get the idea. There are far better tremolo's than the Floyed out there
  20. I had it long for ages, then cut it short. Then I went to a Maiden concert and felt stupid, so now it's long again! Oh Juze, I also wear camoflage pants but mine are Urban Camo
