  1. Wha? Wher'? I can't see it!!!!!!!! mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  2. Great! No more endless clicking in searching for finished axes! I hope I'll see mine here soon . mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  3. But then the stain will fill the lines thus making the wood more stained. I think the lines will have to be very very carefully traced. mulmuzzler | OSSMT
  4. Here's another drawing I made this evening. EBMM/Ibanez JPM crossover - upper carve side view mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  5. I believe it does belong to him. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  6. I believe your previous avatar had to do something with that BTW, It looks like so raw-powerful! mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  7. Steve Vai's Bad Horsie Wah has optical switching envolved, but that's way too complex electronics for a house mod in my opinion. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  8. Yes it is. The line is meant to be left sharp, to be some kind of physical and aestetical border of the carve. Alex, I have a couple of options. I thought to do some kind of car sparkle finish, kinda industrial look... Dark cherry sparkle... Blue sparkle... The fretboard will be maple, preferably figured. If this one comes out alive, I'll do another one, this time with 25mm mahagony base and 20mm maple cap (BTW the carve starts at 30 mm from the base of the body, so there will be a 5mm natural binding). The arm rest should look like lower horn of the PRS guitar, only bigger. I have a killer red stain my dad used some 10 years ago for the speakers (KEF Constructor Series). I'll post pic when I get hands on a digital camera to shoot them. I'm glad you guys like it even if it is still in the "blueprint stage". mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  9. Here are some of the best John Suhr's creations: http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/...1928_9_full.jpg http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/...928_10_full.jpg mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  10. Luckily, I've saved the topic months ago. The guy who made it is monkyboy777. Here it is: mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  11. Thanx Alex! By "He shure knows how to do it" I meant that you make excellent CAD drawings, bro, which anybody who checked out or used your drawings can say. And Streamline, as far as the 7 string HBs go, there was a topic about that. Here is the link. I hope you'll find it helpful. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  12. This is quote from the jemsite.com - players reviews page regarding RG-ART: Read the Look section carefully. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  13. No, man. Not yet. These drawings are done in CorelDRAW but I'm thinking of making AutoCAD files out of them so I can take them to CNC router and produce the most accurate bodies. My knowledge in AutoCAD is not so great. If I could find someone to help me or even do it for me, that would be a blast! If not, I'll do it by cutting the template on a 3M transparent adhesive film and do it by hand. I saw AutoCAD files in the "Download Section". They're prety good, especially AlexVDL's. He shure knows how to do it. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  14. Actually, no. This the EBMM/Ibanez JPM crossover model. The carve is in-between the Gibson SG and the EBMM JPM model on a Ibanez RG body base. The lines that represent the carve border will not be gradually softened. Instead, they will be sharp. Also, I'll try to scoop the arm rest, like on the EBMM model. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  15. OK, this is something I've been working on for the last couple of days. The 6-string version: The 7-string version: The 6-string version has Schaller trem route and the 7-string one has fixed-type bridge from Hipshot (the one that Scott Rosenberger used on his green 7-string, the 70$ one, although I am thinking of switching the trem to the 7-string and fixed bridge on a 6-string version). The body will be basswood (I bought nice piece very cheap!) on both of them. I would like to read your opinions. If you have any questions, fire away! mullmuzzler | OSSMT

    Picks?

Jim Dunlop Big Stubby 1.0mm - transparent one. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  17. I wish the headstock was done to match the body, but... Really beautiful guitar. That's Pensa Custom Mark Knopfler 2 model. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  18. That's one way to do it. I was thinking of cutting the graphic on a CAD/CAMM cutter and do like you suggested, Wes. The RG-ART was done by hand. The lines were etched by pencil and then stainded by brush. I dunno if the guy who did it made templates out of the PVC adhesive film. I'll be using the 3M. Thanx, guys! mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  19. Hey, guys, check this out! Wha' do u think? Nice, huh? mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  20. The RG-ART is from some guy's collection site. I think that he sold that one. As far as the JPM 90th HAM goes, it is from the Rich Harris's site ibanezrules.com Hey, Drak, do you have any suggestions, bro? mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  21. Can anybody suggest a way to do a transparent stained finish (multicolored) in a graphic way such as RG-ART, JPM 90th HAM, those Linkin Park PRS and Ibanez guitars...? How can it be controled (the spilling of) the stain on the wood over the edge of the lines in graphic? Confusing, ha? If you have pics ov the above mentioned guitars, you know what I'm talking about. If not, here are the pics (some of). mulmuzzler | OSSMT
  22. Mhmmmm.........This looks interesting... Like fish but not! mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  23. Do you mean that your drawings in the Download Section of the Forum can be used on a CNC router without any modifications? If not, what mods do I have to do for the CNC router, Alex? mullmuzzler | OSSMT
  24. I'd opt for a Edge or Lo-Pro Edge "cause is so smooth". As far as the non-Edge trems go - Schaller or Gotoh would be a reasonable choices. mullmuzzler | OSSMT
