    Thanks for the replys, I got the darn bushing off, but it suffers a couple of battle scars, I fitted the gold bridge and it looked awesome, so I decided to leave it like that..I'll just buy a Dean or a body off ebay and do that.     Ok, heres what happened, no pics since I don't have a camera. I was taking out the bushings that the tailpiece would go over, ( i know the pickguard is in the way, but im getting custom one made since the pickguard covers to much part of the body) anyway the screw I put in there to help the bridge screw create pressure on got stuck and the bridge screw cannot go in to create pressure, its really stuck in there. I need to find a way to take out the bushing, maybe some sort of clamp?

    Ok, THANK YOU very much for the info, it will come in handy, but right now I got a major problem, I was taking out the bushings that hold the bridge together, and I accidently dropped the wrong screw in the bushing and started to tighten the bigger screw that holds the tailpiece, then I realised the bushing wasen't lifting, turns out the screw was too long and got stuck, so now all work is halted until I can get that last bushing out, which looks like a pain to do, its really stuck in there, any suggestions?

    Just like that? THAT EASY?? I will check E-bay for some, so for the holes, I would just have to drill the holes the same size as the V plate? does it also need those metal pipe things that go into the drilled holes? and what about the space, those it matter how far the plate is?

I know I have to cover up the stop tail holes and need bondo and re paint the guitar, but what do I need to accomplish this mod? Thanks

    wow, like the rest of the members said, what a waste, I think the tech you went to is a fishy, I've seen worse breaks repaired rather simple, and how much did you save compared to just buying the guitar?

    Yes, I realize that, its just that keeping the circuit is too much of a hassle because its very big, how do I wire them like you mentioned, seems easier,

    the yellow wire was connected to the green circuit, but I disconnected that and nothing lights up, I want to wire it so that theres no use for the circuit board, takes up too much space

    wow, those look nice, but the LEDs I want to use are more colorful, I just need to wire the LEDs straight to the power switch, but I don't know how,

    hey, whats up board, I found this little nifty LED thingy in one of my lil bro's toys, so I took it out and was going to make it so it could fit behind my headstock and have the LEDs stick out and well, flash, but I came up with a problem, as I want to run them straight off the battery, only with a on/off switch to power them, I took a pic so I can demonstrate what I have. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/ZOMB13/PICT0003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v681/ZOMB13/PICT0005.jpg How can I wired all those LEDs so they turn on when I flip the switch on? and will they still be able to flicker on their own or just be on?

    How old is that OFR? Specific year would be appreciated. And it's chrome right?? -IR Its not a Offical Floyd Rose, Its an Official Licensed Floyd Rose, I don't know the year I got it back in 2003, sorry and yes its chrome.
