  1. WOW!!! Where'd I put my sandpaper.....
  2. You could do but I imagine it would be very very difficult up at the higher frets. It's something I wouldn't mind trying on my M-100. Replace the dot with tribal inlays.
  3. First of all, you'd have to remove all the frets to make it easier/possible to radius the inlays and then you're going to have to put more back in and dress them. That in itself isn't easy AFAIK. Other than that, have a look at the tutorials on the project guitar home page.
  4. Length (Upper Horn to end of body): 451.7 mm Width: 310.6 mm Depth: 44 mm The top part of the body is longer than the lower part apparently. This is all according to the Jemsite blueprint.
  5. Humblest apologies. I didn't see this bit
  6. Actually, I was serious. Talking about blues on TV? Doesn't really have much to do with effect pedal schematics. TSL, don't suppose you could send those schematics to me could ya? Sorry if I'm seeming like a bastard, just in a bad mood at the mo.
  7. I don't mean to be picky but is there any chance you could stay somewhere near the topic?
  8. I was just looking at Robert Keeley's Page and I was wondering does anyone have the components/schematics for the DS-1 Ultra mod and the Wah mods? I've got a hankering for some tinkering and they seem like a good choice Does anyone have any of his pedals?
  9. 7 Stringer For 166 euro + 23 euro delivery, how could you go wrong? That said, I can't even afford it I just need 19 people to send 10 euro (or dollars )each and I'll be riffing lower than your average riffing in no time. /me goes off and keeps dreaming....
  10. Come come, Krazyderek, you know the rules!
  11. This might not seem moral but I was going to try and flog it to a guy I know who has GAS but knows nothing about guitars.
  12. 19, Ireland, go to DKIT, studying Software Development, in 2nd year. Rarely go in hence all my internet time (bad idea getting broadband in a student house!)
  13. Or just keep the B string a fifth below the D (once you've dropped it)
  14. yeah, that's Euros with Irish VAT added in. Delivery is ?23. Go to Thomann.de for an English version of the website. Also check out the 3D image they have of it. Very cool.
  15. Thankfully I know someone who has too much GAS and not enough sense...
  16. I (hopefully) be getting a seven string in the not too distant future and I was thinking about tunings. To play St Anger stuff, I'd probably tune to C C G C F A D to play Some Kind Of Monster (watch the DVD, Hetfield uses a 7 string F series) or else E C G C F A D (I think. That would result in the B and E strings being in dropped D compared to each other, E and A likewise and all the others down a full step).
  17. Ahhh, yeah I know that one. Cheers.
  18. Mmmm, flick paint. I imagine you could clear coat it. As long as the lacquer is CLEAR, the light should affect the paint the exact same.
  19. Adobe Photoshop is your friend Or Paint Shop Pro.
  20. Don't suppose you have a link to that tutorial do you? Couldn't find it on the main page.
  21. Hmm, I have found a 7-string guitar on the internet for ?166. 24-fret, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, alder body, dual humbuckers, Floyd Rose. This is very tempting to me at the moment because I really want a 7-string. Now, should I sell my Epiphone strat that I've modified to dual humbuckers (ESP), checker plate aluminium pickguard and Floyd Rose bolted on for about ?200-?300 (assuming I can bluff my way) and get the 7-string or should I not bother? I have been offered (I think) 2 EMG HZ 707's for free to replace the hummers in the 7-string. Opinions? The 7-String
  22. I did it on an Epiphone strat that I have. Basically, just pulled the posts out, filled the holes, drilled new ones, put the posts in and attached the FR. Not a great job but hopefully I'll be selling it soon so I can get a 7 string with FR for ?166 brand new
  23. Cool. Are you going to use any finish on it? That knot at the 3rd fret would annoy me.
  24. Nice shoes..... What kinda of fretboard wood are you using? Looks like a mix between maple and rosewood.
