  1. Wow, those cutaways at the bottom make it pretty big . The one at RondoMusic is open (not form fitting) and measures 49" x 15 1/2" x 4" outside... probably too small for yours. Maybe look into a case made for an Explorer bass? Compare: Epiphone Explorer Bass Brownsvill Bat Bass Search for "Epiphone EXBCS Explorer Bass Case" I think it should be big enough.
  2. Heh, I saw that on slashdot.org yesterday . Pretty cool, drunken speaker

    I'm pretty sure it's a brand too . http://www.ctscorp.com/components/potentiometers.htm
  4. And the people rejoiced, hurrah!
  5. Hmm... then maybe it's a coincidence that there have been a recent influx of new votes without posts as darren wilson mentioned.
  6. Hmm... it's only happened since the update for me ... everything else, computer, browser, etc. being the same.
  7. So it's been happening only in the polls section for you too?
  8. Heh, I must have missed that posted when I clicked on "Mark all forums as read and return to index" earlier .
  9. Ugh, it just happened again for the "Poll: Girlfriend or Guitar" thread. Edit: ...and again for the "Poll: T-Shirt Size" one.
  10. Where in the soundcard are you plugging in to? Make sure it's into the line-in and NOT the microphone (for use with the digitech.) Have you tried adjusting the levels in the windows mixer (volume controls?) In the "Options" menu, select "Properties" and change "Adjust volume for" to "Recording."
  11. Anybody experience any forum weirdness since the update Brian mentioned here? Since the upgrade, when I click on "View New Posts" I sometimes get posts that I've read marked as new. It seems to occurs at random times for random topics... weird. Edit: Now that I think about it some more, maybe it's not so random... I think the posts were all in the "Put it to a vote" topic.
  12. Hmm... it looks similar to the one Brian sells, first item: http://www.universaljems.com/cart/tools.htm the prices are close if you don't count s+h.
  13. if you decide to have a 15" fretboard eith a 12" bridge your action will suffer, making it quite high. You would get a better playing guitar, and lower action with a 12" on a 12". Mike Or you could file down the string notches on the TOM saddles to match the 15" radius .
  14. The old timers could probably put their tongues on a piece of wood and tell ... for others there are meters such as the ones here: http://www.moisturemeterstore.com/wood_moisture_meters.shtml other than that, I don't know of any "tricks of the trade" type ways that there might be (hmm... that sentence sounded weird .)
  15. (i assume you meant meant, not ment) Yeah, I'm a jerk .
  16. My post was refering to this post that nomusicnolife555 made . (another lover of headless guitars)
  17. Heh, reminds me of an old adage (originally regarding fools) ...not that any particular reader is an idiot .
  18. 2.1 Change "Search Where" to "All Forums" 2.2 Change "Search posts from..." to "Any date" 2.3 Change the other "Search Where" to "Search titles only"
  19. Kiln dried isn't necessary... but it takes about a year for each inch thickness to air dry, I believe (month per inch for kiln, iirc.) You'd want 6 to 8 percent moisture content. Welcome to PG!
  20. $122.88/BF I guess all the pretty girls are that expensive .
  21. I'd wonder if you'd diss Schecter's if they made a headless guitar .
  22. Heh so it's ok for you to disparage a certain type of guitar (headless) that lot's of people (me for example) enjoy but not the other way around? Thanks for the chuckle! Oh, and amps usually don't have speakers (as in power amps or heads)... unless you mean combo's, I guess
  23. There's an acid flashback just lookin' at the figuring! Your eyes just swims from staring at it . Nice!
