i did my kramer baretta like that. i ended up doing a black burst around the body to cover the edge of the decal. it looks really good. i have started the clear coat process, and so far no adverse reactions.

you will also have to compensate for a bigger (wider) bridge/trem

patrick didn't die. he did have a brain tumour removed however. it put him out if commision for a while though. he posts on jemsite regularly, and is catching up on work. maybe try jemsite...

i have a guy putting a new fretboard on my american master (ibanez custom shop neck through) here in ontario for 300.00. the old fretboard was already off though. i was quoted around 500.00 by everyone i called if they had to remove the old fretboard.
