    it's a good martial arts movie though...some really nice sequences obviously the acting and production isn't up to par but it was made in a different time

    LOL! i don't know why i thought you were talking about bloodsport.. a stupid moment i guess, probably drunk or something Kumite simply means any organised fight.. i've taken a break from Loong choo for now, but am still freestyle training with friends and solo, my nunchaku broke (popped bearing) so i've been learning a lot more about staffwork (jo) ,gymnastics, philosophy and energy manipulation (nunchaku always were a great boredom killer) when i get back from holidays i'm gonna start gymnastics classes and maybe kickboxing classes....

    are you joking about the mafia thing? as someone who really does come from a partly mafia/partly mafia hating family don't try and use it to make people feel sorry for you i'm betting it doesn't even affect you anyway

    oh man! i wasn't expecting to see this thread.. he will definitely be missed, great guy my PMbox is still full of conversations with him from business we did together he was always really friendly and helpful, here's to a happy next life

    where would the money go? i'd assume it would go to keeping the PGforum and site running and expanding also maybe towards regaining the shipping/materials costs(don't know how that would work) or howabout to pay for shipping/materials for the next PGguitar?? then really only the first one would would incur real cost

    some people make it look even cooler with the guitar high up anyway more freedom of movement allows for better stage performance..

    are you talking about pople you know personally or not(ie. Jennifer batten Rocks!! i think it's the same chick i'm thinking of anyway....) personally i don't know any female shredders but i know a few female guitarists that are pretty good at other styles remember 'Shred' is a minority right now....

    it's amazing how little gain he actually used... Vai, always surprises me like that too damn i wish i had Vai's tone ....and skills......and theory knowledge....did i mention skillz?

    yeah but Araya bores me more through lack of singing skills(or showing them) as mostly he just screams nd shouts in the same few notes

    really, i assumed the 81 lead tone would be pretty good, not my type but good the 'best' lead tones tend to be less gain anyway look at Van halen, Vai, Satch, and just about any shredder out there

    it's possible to modify a crybaby or Vox to true bypass i'm pretty sure....

    a pretty sound? jeez it's not like it plays happy pop.. i dunno, if i were still playing hardcore metal i'd go with something else then again i'd probably have EMG's so what does it matter i was basing the pickup's sound a little more on lead than rythm too

    try a true bypass wah and the crybaby, if you can live without true bypass then you'll love the crybaby. for me i got the crybaby, then later realised i hate the sound when the wah's off, it colours the tone in such a bad way, so now i'm lookin for a good true bypass wah like the buddha or fulltone ones

    wes, what do you think of Phil Anselmo? would you consider him a better metal screamer? i definitely think he's a better all round metal singer...

    a friend of mine had one and loved the sound!! but it kept stuffing up, so he got a replacement, that stuffed up, took it back and got another replacement......that stuffed up too!! but some people's seem to be fine so i dunno
