  1. That 36" scale one is definitely one of the coolest basses I've seen!!! :D Man, I'm REALLY waiting for you to get it finished!
  2. Looks great. You have made excellent wood choices!
  3. I like it! Looks much more balanced now.
  4. Check this out: http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/options/options_bodywoods.cfm
  5. I'm not sure, but I assume this is lacquer finished: Click!
  6. When talking about teles, particulary old school ones, the first thing that comes to my mind is swamp ash. Maybe you could use it for the body. It also looks cooler than alder.
  7. Yes, this is going to be an awesome one!
  8. I like the design, and the woods! :D I'm really looking forward to see this finished! Good luck with it!
  9. Have you thought about covering the front/back of the headstock with veneer? That scarf-joint pops up pretty badly.
  10. Looking good, especially the body design. I'd cover the headstock with a veneer, because without it it would look messy. Good luck with it!
  11. I like the design! Are you by any chance going to chamber the body? With those woods it would probably weight a ton!
  12. Actually the third one looks kinda cool, but I'd still go with the natural.
  13. It looks awesome as it is, just put a clear coat of lacquer on it!
  14. Nice design. To me the buckeye burl fretboard would make the bass look messy. It would simply have too much going on in it.
  15. What would be the best way to finish a wenge neck? Warmoth says it requiers no finish but it feels kinda odd to me. I think I'll be using grain filler with the mahogany but should I use it with the bubinga also?
