  1. im retarted in the fact i prefer standard gibson spacing on my floyd equiped guitars (wich is all of them) the reason being if they were f-spaced then when i bend im pushing the string away from the pole peice where as gibson spaced i bend into them and i only use duncan jb's/pearly gates models retarted yes i am...does it make a differance to my ear yes to other people probbably not
  2. the fretboard is finished just needs to be fretted the rest of the neck needs one more coat then buffing but yeah maybe i should shave so i stop giving my masturbation habbits away

  5. they are definetly duncans the markings make that clear and they look like quaterpounders with 1/4" pole peices like this one http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/femf.../heather002.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/femf.../heather001.jpg and that high k reading could be right the pics i posted are ssl 7's that are 14.7k...very hot singles so the seven could mean qtr pounder and the r could be reverse wound reverse polarity i bet with the sheilding job they will sound sweet also try this http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/I-3789.html the part about single coils...this works good but anyway contact duncan and they will help you with the old model number system.....hope this info helps
  6. the pots will ground the circut as in the metal casing from the pots making contact with the paint me i prefer copper as its much better but alot harder to work with but this is the end result http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/femf...tar/rich001.jpg

  11. the CNC only ruff shapes the neck but it does shape it after i get one of the machine i use a RO sander and a pair of dial calipers to shape it the reast of the way and to finish sand it to specs
  12. damm i need one of those..but i spent my next paycheck already if you still have it next week it will be mine P.S thats an awsome price
  13. ***!!!!!!!!!! how do you bend on those without altering the scale length of the bent string. it could never play correct
  14. what size pickups do you have now humbuckers or single coils...p90's maybe....without that info no one can offer advice
  15. try here http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/categor...pickupdiagrams/
  16. why buy korean made crap when you can buy something made in the U.S Warmoth/USAG or my personal fav is this one http://musikraft.3dcartstores.com/Strat-Neck_p_0-8.html
  17. Becarefull trying this at home kids it could kill you and im not sure its magic....it had its drawbacks no choice between harmonic/fundi"mental" modes hard to control unwanted strings sustaining in but its one benifet was its sustain power...i could probably capo the 24th fret high e put it down and two days later it would still be going here is the pickup for those who have not seen it http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/femf...off/wood015.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d38/femf...off/wood016.jpg
  18. this place is not cheap but the quality is the best...(they supply the industry its woods in general) http://exoticwoods.com/FB-BB-PH-MOP/fbslotted.htm
  19. you can also help out a smaller compressor ive used a broken compressor as an expansion tank if you can get hold of a broken or old compressor (make sure its not rusted to hell as it will burst) just tee off your good compressor run one side to your tool and the other to the second tank it will add more volume to your supply but will not add pressure i cant say what is used after the orbital but i can say if your sanding by hand then pick up a pair of magnafying<--spell check / reading glasses that are at least 2x magnafication....4x is better then you will see the fine scratches that the eye just cant see also remember light is your freind. chances are if you see a shadow something is wrong
  20. we use these Wes http://www.tcpglobal.com/proautotools/item...temno=DNB+21035 12,000 rpm and from 3/32nds to 3/8ths orbit (all differant for differant needs) 120 for ruff then 220 for fine then a secret for the final but they chew alot of SCFM's so you need a good compressor but they work great and are fast so your thinking is correct Mattia "I've got a lousy orbital sander (to be replaced with a Makita or DeWalt Random Orbit sander when the next cash inflow arrives" these are not in the same ballpark if you do a lot of work the extra money is well worth it the electric RO's dont have enough rpm's
