Hey Guys
I have a odd problem at the moment. I have an old ibanez les paul copy with a bolt on neck. The owner gave it to me to change the pickups becasue the old humbuckers would feedback. I changed them and i have noticed the same problem. As soon as you take your hand of any metal bits including strings it starts buzz hard out. I have wired and rewired this beast with no improvement. The wiring is standard les paul style. The ground is all good and i have installed all new hardware. Do i need to sheild this bad boy?
Cheers
Hey Dude
Two books i found very helpful and cheap on Amazon.
Make your own electric guitar and bass- Dennis Waring & David Raymond
Building Electric Guitars - Martin Koch
Drill Press, Good Bits...
If you are using a les paul scale, measure from the nut 24.75 inches (or what ever your scale is) and mark it of. The rest is easy man.
Hey Dude. That is a very nice Guitar.
Who did you get the shape of, i love it. Could i get it of you. I was just about to do my strat and then i saw that shape and i am loving it.
I bet is sounds like a million bucks, do you have sound clips?
i have been looking at a Fender Blues Junior amp for a long time. Tried a Line 6 POD live in front of it at the music shop the other day. I did like it.
