1. Having no volume knob sounds very inpractical.
A volume pedal would be an easy solution
2. you can find PRS and Les Paul kits from Saga. The bodies and necks are decent for first projects and you can upgrade the hardware if you want better quality.
3. I had a little gorilla practice amp I picked up at a pawn shop. Rocking little amp for $20. (I didn't vote for it though)
4. Good luck and have fun...that's what its all about
5. Why doesn't Fender go after everyone who is selling a "strat-like" guitar
6. I'm from Indianapolis so had to vote for the hometown guy. David Letterman
7. I have read about several different setups in the forums, but was curious to see what is the most common since the average guy doesn't have access to a booth.
8. My name is Brent. I am 36. Been playing for twenty years and have done the easy stuff on my own guitars for a long time. Been interested in building for awhile and found this site looking for info. This is a really good site and look forward to learning alot from erveryone. I am just getting started on a les paul and a strat from kits. Starting out easy.
9.
