thrashncrust Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 does anyone know where they might sell jack daniels material? ya know, like the material finish? any help will be greatly appreciated Quote
thrashncrust Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 hahaha, your funny, it took me a couple of seconds to get that Quote
Drak Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Actually I'm serious, why can't you go to their website and search it for a t-shirt or a poster or something fabric-oriented to use for your material finish? Maybe even a poster that you could apply. E-bay too. Quote
thrashncrust Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 good idea, thanks man Quote
RGGR Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 You might wanna have a look here. It's esp format, and every graphics department can deal with them. Some cool logo's. http://web.brandsoftheworld.com/search/?qu...&brand_id=64143 Quote

MzI Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 bring it to kinkos as a jpeg and they will print it on their plotters up to 36 inches wide MzI Quote
thrashncrust Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 thank you everyone for yer Quote
RGGR Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 If you have problem opening that .eps file you might wanna play visit to local ad agency or so (some one working with graphics) and ask them to change it to size and format you want. Not sure if Kinko's can do that for you. Other option would be finding sign making company....(or someone capable of cutting vinyl, and have them cut the logo on plotter table.......). Then you can stick this to guitar body, spray layer of clear, and you will have awesome guitar. Would be cool to you some of those other Daniel's logo's on headstock. Quote
Maiden69 Posted November 4, 2004 Report Posted November 4, 2004 RGGR, I love this idea, but instead of leaving the vinil there, what about heving them cut the design on masking tape, the very large one used for automotive graphics and painting base color laying the mask and then black over, remove the mask and clear, it will take less clear to cover than with the vinil on and look more profesional. I bet Jeremy can point a few places were to get the graphics tape. Quote
Tezifon Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 hows the burning of graphic in wood called? a figured ash top with the jd logo burned can be cool like this? Quote
croaticum Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 how do you do that burned finish??? Quote
GuitarMaestro Posted November 8, 2004 Report Posted November 8, 2004 how do you do that burned finish??? They usa a pencil/scribe that's kinda soldering iron but smaller with a heated tip. With that you can draw/burn marks on the wood. Quote
guitar_ed Posted November 9, 2004 Report Posted November 9, 2004 Hey Tezifon, That is wicked looking. I like it! Guitar Ed Quote
