First Project Taking Shape

Recommended Posts

Well, the wood has been sitting round for a while, so heres an in progress shot or two.

Finally cut the body today.

And before you guys say anything, yea i know the cavities are a little bit sloppy, and that there is a visible glue joint, but they will all be hidden soon!

Any way, the pics:

Oh yeah, and you might notice that i havent cut the heel yet.

This is because the neck isnt finished (yet! 2 weeks tops!).

It will be cut to size then.

How did you glue that top on, and as mentioned how are you going to fix it??

Are the 2 top pieces flush?? Maybe you shoulda planed it down a little before routing the humbucker routes?? Nice wood, looks pretty cool.
