ultraman
So heres my story. Last year i bought a 2nd hand marshall amp. It was one of the old valvestate models(8080). So during the one year, i had it, it broke down 4 times. The store paid for the repairs each time but it started getting to be a pain in the neck, you know? The fourth time it broke down was about 2 weeks ago. So once again i went to the store with my mom to get it repaired. This trip to the store was going to be like no other. My mom went to see the manager of the store to tell him about our problem and convinced him to take it back and let me choose a new one with credit from my old one. I was so suprised he did that! So I looked around the store for about 3 hours and finally stumbled upon it. THE MARSHALL AVT 275!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marshall Valvestate2000 AVT 150watts solid state 1 ECC83 Triode Tube preamp 4 channel , 2 overdrive ,1 clean 16 Digital EFFECTS Reverb 2x12 Custom Celestion Hell yeah baby! Thats my new amp. I had to pay more money than i had with the credit but it was worth it! I love it! It has all the sounds i want and its pretty big footswitch(for a marshall), lets me access all of my sounds with the tip of my foot. I dont even need my Boss ME-50 anymore. I havent used it once since i got the amp! Heres some pics of the amp from the marshall website: Marshall AVT 275 Gynormous footswitch Ill post some soundclips up soon! Wow, that was a pretty long post. Im so hyped, I just HAD to tell you guys!!!!!! Tom PS : the accoustic simulator doesnt sound fake at all! AHH Nice score on the amp, i played one, and the acoustic simulator is nice, you do know you can add cabs to it and use it as a head eh? my buddy has that model and runs 2 1936 (??) Marshall JCM cabs through it, and he has the most amzing tone out of it Curtis

ultraman
Sorry about the description... I just found it on the net somewhere and pasted it. Yeah it does have 4 channels. 1 accoustic, 1 clean, od 1 and od 2. You should seriously consider this amp Curtis!!! Its sooo loud and the cleans are just plain beatiful. I can use it as a head but if i do i have to unplug the combos speakers so the built in 2x12 wont be on. It would basically be an oversized head. It cost me about the same price as the head would but it came with speakers built in.
