Marzocchi705
I'm thinking about getting one, The LX1 head into a 412 cab. Its a killer deal at £280 but is it good. It must be better than my marshall MG15 DFX. Is it worth buying.
Daniel Sorbera
I would say go for a vox valvetronix. There like the same price but IMHO they sound MUCH better. The v-amplifire doesent sound any better than the v-amps. Which IMO sound like crap, esp for the distortions. If you diddnt use the drive and used your drive pedal you could probally get away with it but the vox sounds WAY better. Jester700
I think the V-Amp2 sounds OK. IMO it's in the same class as the original POD, but not as good overall as Yamaha's DG Stomp. I never tried the Vox. The amp's not a bad buy, but it's not made that well. A pal has one and the pot shaft broke (not the knob - the SHAFT) - it was plastic. Primal
Of the reviews I have read about the bass V-Amp, it is just as good, if not better, than the Line 6 PODs that sell for around 400 USD. I plan on getting one soon, mostly for effects such as delay, chorus, and tone shaping abilities.
