Strange Fruit
Hi I was just wondering if anyone has every tried using the Rotozip Rebel Cutting Drill thing to cut out a body. It boasts it can cut through 2 inches of material, including hardwoods and to a certain extent metals. if you dont know what i mean, go to www.rotozip.com (i think!!) and see. Any thoughts? Advantages, disadvantages etc? Matt
Sean
Interesting. My father has this need to buy every power tool on the face of the earth. I will have him get one and I'll check it out.
westhemann
not really suitable.you can get those bits for a dremel and it will do the same thing but i really doubt it would do it without going thriugh about 20 of those expensive bits. Guitarfrenzy
So a Dremel won't work either?... I thought you just took a little bit of wood at a time .. not try to cut it the right depth on the first go around.. I got access to a router.. but was thinking of buying a Dremel... maybe now I won't.. lol
westhemann
i'm sorry i did not mean to suggest that a dremel was useless.i use one for routing(with a base),polishing fretboards, stuff like that and it works great.i just don't think it has enough in it to cut a whole body.i think it is well worth the money.
