Jehle
Well, the new guitar is underway, and I'm at the point where I need to decide on the controls. I was wondering if there's a way to make a metal cover (instead of the vinyl or plastic) and have that chrome plated. Is there a way to do this at home? Do you farm something like this out like having baby shoes bronzed? What got me thinking about it was the chrome plate for the knobs on the Telecaster. I like it for the looks of it, and for the simple rout a hole and screw it on method. But I need a different control configuration, so I'd like to make my own. Any ideas or suggestions? Scott Rosenberger
Try calling a motorcycle shop in your area, like a Harley Davidson Dealer, they can point you towards a reputable Plater in your area
