It's not a knife edge, but I think the original post referred to a trem hinged on a ball bearing, like those used on a template bit. Kevan Posted January 27, 2006 Report Share Posted January 27, 2006 If I remember correctly, the "ball bearing" end on the Hipshot trems are actually the butt-end of a couple of dowel pins. It's KINDA ball bearing-ish. LOL Vigier also does a ball bearing type trem of their own design. Lots of different models out there now.
