Well i said i would post some pics and here they are. This is the thread im gonna update as i work on this thing. What im going to do this week is strip the rest of the paint and get it to all wood. Here is how it showed up at my house. My father and i worked on it yesterday. Its actually a new workbench/duplicarver, the workbench part of it is done now we are working ont assembling the machine. My last one was in 1988 - a JEM77RB. I wanted another one two years ago and just made it myself (assembled) with a Korina body from Jim Donahue and a Wizard neck. I do think that Gibsons are overpriced though. Look at the quality of the finish on the headstock and where the neck joins the body on a LP. Orange peel everywhere. Up here, in Canada, a decent LP Standard goes for 2400 new + 14% tax. Too much for a mass produced guitar IMO. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
