the third eye Posted September 22, 2003 Report Share Posted September 22, 2003 another really simple form of tapping is to use it as a super fast trill by stiffening up your middle finger and using you whole pick hand to "peck" at for example the 12th fret,while using your fretting hand to change to different notes. yeah, that's a cool one.. Brian?.... anyone? you could write it out on paper...scan it,then post it as a pic i can't scan or host.... there must be a way to get past it..... MikeB Posted November 22, 2003 Report Share Posted November 22, 2003 thanks for the reply. i think my posting will slow down, when i have less time on my hands!! the sweeping that want2desgin has shown is the type that i am quite capable of, but its a different view on it, thanks. the sweeping that has me stuffed a bit is the 2 notes per string type, e.g. e-------------------5--8 B----------------6------ G-------------7--------- D----------7------------ A-------7--------------- E-5--8------------------ its the initial 2 notes that stuff me, on the way up and down, as i kinda slur them together trying to play them as fast as the other notes. the 2 note on the top strong are easy for some reason tho!!! thanks alot guys! mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
