danny_v_l Posted September 28, 2003 Report Share Posted September 28, 2003 Hey I'm gonna paint my guitar soon, its a Fernandes Nomad Z-03, its gonna be Yellow, Purple, Black, Green, and White. I was looking thru the Gallery and notice there were at least to or three guitar with painted pick ups and knobs and swicth covers, can any one tell me how i would go about painting my humbucker pick up !!!! I've used paints for plastics such as the new Krylon and also any modelers paints from manufacturer's such as Revell or Testors. I've also used acrylic paints for artist's to make fine detailed designs on pickups but the other guys are right, most off the pickups your seeing are either custom colors ordered in from the factory or covers or Bobbin Toppers.
