One big thing is I am going to have a custom body, I want something for Metal or Rock, if you have any body shapes or anything esle for that matter, I'd appriciate your help. Thanks. Not quite as 'bug crusher' looking as a beast or warlock, but doesn't look overly conservative either. I LOVE neck-through mocking birds with walnut stingers and flamed maple wings... DividedByJames Posted October 7, 2003 Report Share Posted October 7, 2003 metal or rock, eh? I'd stay away from the generic shapes then (ie. Les Paul arched/flat, Les Paul Jr arched/flat, Strat, Tele, etc). BC Rich makes some very metal looking shapes. Although most are way too metal and probably wouldn't be considered for rock. SG's and Explorers are cool, but if you are making your own, you might as well copy those shapes. I think a very cool one would be a copy of Jerry Garcia's guitar. It's like a morphed SG.
