Briscriggs Posted April 10, 2007 Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 Just wondering instead of tinting laquer for the body of my guitar could I just use a minwax colured stain varnish let dry then start appling my clear coat of laquer? (crap in my opinion) But if it is still oil based, as they were years ago, then Lacquer will not adhere as you would like it too!!!!!! IF YOU GET MY DRIFT???
