Yes and no - if the guitar strings are long enough, they will work. Tuning on a 12-string bass tuned standard would be: C#, F#, B, E, A, D, G, C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab. Gauges would be .195+, .165+, .130+, .100, .080, .060, .045, .030, .022. .015, .011, .005+

Jon
Indeed, a 13-string bass will be pushing the limits of a stringed instrument. It's either going to be extremely fanned to get a higher string, or have one lower that will hardly be audible.

JohnRossitter
We all have our first guitars. Mine was hardly playable, and the electronics hardly worked either. It's all a part of initiation. His problem is he doesn't know when to stop lying and let it go. Trying to sell it on e-bay...now that's criminal. I love the part where he says: The rosewood stain didn't take because I forgot to sand the body.
rhoads56
He started on a 14 stringer!! Then quit... I love the final comment on this video... "i dont have any real friends, just my friends on myspace and youtube" haha http://youtube.com/watch?v=zNYrPKO06c0&feature=related
JohnRossitter
Yeah, It seems as it was just a fad for him, now he has moved onto greater things like airbrushing car hoods...LOL. I guess SB Guitars is closed for business now
anderekel
He's taken up airbrushing? NNNOOOOOOOOOO now he's gonna make more people look bad lol or I guess maybe he'll make them look good by comparison hehe
rhoads56
If you notice his airbrushing of the cloud, it is a different shape/style to the others already done, and a different colour. Does this suggest he is adding a cloud to someone elses work, to claim it as his on youtube?
