frankenstrat
hello, i have this strat neck, that i need help identifying. it's maple, 21 frets, made in japan. the serial # is E9441xx. when looking at the headstock, the tuning keys are "angled", rather than being "horizontal" to the top edge of the headstock. http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/guitarlan...ock.jpg&.view=t hopefully that image got posted, it's my first attempt at posting a picture. any information on this neck would be appreciated. Thanks, Frank
westhemann
am i crazy or is that just a plain old fender strat neck?
tsl602000
it's a '89 neck. The tuners are probably attached off axis. I'm sure you can correct that without any problems.

GLW Guitarz
the serial # is E9441xx. The E in the serial number stands for "Eighties", so yeah, it's an 80s neck. See: Serial Number Dater For Fender Guitars

I really don't think Aaron wants to hear his age all the time.
frankenstrat
cool, i was pretty much just wondering how old it was...if it was just a cheapo neck, stuff like that.... the frets are too small for my liking...i am thinking about a re-fret.
