Bass-Man43
You just don't repaint hardware, its either plated or powder coated (if I'm not mistaken?)
teddybear
so how to plated / coated tutorial?
ae3
Well, it's a bit more complicated than that I'm afraid. Powder Coating requires specially charged powder, extremely high temperature kiln, acid baths, sand blasters etc. You'd have to find a powder coater near you and see if they can do it. It might be cheaper to buy a whole new bridge though.
Woodenspoke
Find an autobody place that powder coats. Should be cheap to do and finished in a day.
ihocky2
Plating or anodizing requires acid baths, elctrodes, base materials, finish materials. Not much of a do it yourself field.

The powder coater cost around $30 at Harbor Freight and we used an old oven to bake it.
Narcissism
I think refinishing this would involve bonding paint molecules to metal molecules thereby creating a finish that cannot chip off unless you chip the material that the paint is molecularly bonded to. billm90
http://search.eastwoodco.com/search?p=Q&am...amp;isort=score this is the only kind of stuff that pops into my head about this kind of thing.
