Umm, actually, yes you can. And you can clearly see that the body is not sitting in a CNC mill. If you have a long enough router bit, and enough patience you can get away with it.

You just don't repaint hardware, its either plated or powder coated (if I'm not mistaken?)

Not to nit pick here but to me it looks like the ferruls are reaaaaally off. Or are those ones supposed to be like that?

No offense, but to me it looks like the horns and stuff are pretty wonky, like not straight. Just my 2 cents though.

Alright! Got my top wood, there was no burl so I got some really nice Spalt/Flame maple the pictures dont do it any justice by far! Ill have more pics tomorrow when its sanded to the black walnut. Enjoy Before planing, on my kitchen table Gluing to the Walnut

Thanks for the feedback guys! I really like the tutorial but I want to do face dots. Side dots as well would be sweet but I have no idea where I would get fiber optic cable.
