sunday_luthier
Really nice guitar and explanations about the finish. The one tiny thing that puts me off is the back cavity cover. I think a contrasting white pearloid would have been better. Something about the wood figuring doesn't look right to me... but who cares about back cavity covers anyway :-) great job ! Yeah I did toy with the idea of a pearloid cover but I really wanted it to recessed without screws & the pearloid was just too thin to fit the magnets - so I went with my original plan of the flamed ash - I wanted to make it a feature but also blend in too but also be different. And if you look at the grain (not the flame) it does blend in quite well.
