Bad Moon Guitars
Can a locking nut be installed on a Strat neck with the "bullet" truss rod? The "bullet" looks a bit large to rout for a locking nut. If this can be done could someone give me a "tutorial" ? Thanks, Keith P.S. Is the pivot post distance the same on all Floyd and licensed Floyd trems?
jbkim
There are "behind the nut" type locking nuts like some here: http://universaljems.com/cart/nutslock.htm that'd probably work.
Slaughthammer
P.S. Is the pivot post distance the same on all Floyd and licensed Floyd trems? i guess so, because all i've seen had a 74 mm distance between them, maybe there are some exceptions

krazyderek
locking nuts #6, 7 and 9 are specifically designed to be used on fender necks that have the bullet.
Scott Rosenberger
you can grind a channel in a regular nut too to make it work with a bullet truss rod.

Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
For post distances, check the pinned trem route comparison at the top of the page.
