frankie
I've had fret buzzing before, but it was on all strings. this one is only on e, what should i do?? i'm thinking it has something to do with the saddles, and i hope the nut isn't worn down or anything... any help is appreciated, thanks

truerussian558
ive had that happpen before, make sure that the height poles are equal height and the saddle isnt slanted, also make sure that the bridge is flush to the body, the high pitched buzzing i had came from the bridge vibrating against the body. If its a classical make sure that the tied end on the bridge side isnt touching the soundboard.
VanKirk
I would suggest raising the saddle on the buzzing string and then checking the intonation if the buzz is on all frets of one string. In my experiences I haven't had a nut wear down but I've had saddles that have. Did it just all of the sudden start this buzz or has it always been that way? frankie
whew, i got lucky, turns out i just needed to adjust the saddle slightly. This was realy bugging me because it was on my favorite guitar (until i build mine) my les paul. Thanks guys
truerussian558
what the heck is a height pole? woops i mean the heigt adjustment screws on the saddles (if its a strat style or related bridge) since the have 2 of them sometimes it happens that one gets loose and is a bit lower making the sadle slanted witch inturn could make it vibrated against the bridge wheneer the string is plucked
