  1. I'm glad you take it in a humoristic way. I still hate that solo though...
  2. you're kiddin', right? I'd rather listen to Madonna farting than that horrible solo. Maybe he doesn't play out of tune.. it sounds out of tune though.
  3. I have this "In from the Storm" Hendrix tribute where McLaughlin plays with Sting on "Wind cries Mary". It's probably the most out of tune and horrible guitar solo I've ever heard. What a terrible tone too... sterile and no feel. Did I mention it's out of tune???
  4. The Lee Jackson's aren't manufactured anymore... In my combo you can exchange the power tubes... 6L6's (which I prefer) and EL34's. The clean channel is almost as good as a Super Reverb and when you turn it up it's Stevie heaven. The lead channel does everything what a Soldano does and then some more. I love this amp and I'm on the look out for more heads and combo's. Lee Jackson DOT COM
  5. Lee Jackson...... read the reviews on Harmony Central. You can find those cheap on Ebay
  6. hahaha... yeah.. he's brilliant.... great chops...
  7. Yeah, I achieve good results with a steel file. I was just wondering if those diamond files give better results in less time.
  8. Scott, What is it that you don't like about that file? Stew Mac makes you believe the diamond files do a cleaner job....
  9. I lost my fret crowning file. Searchred the whole place but can't find it so I'll just order a new one. I always used the Stew mac steel file and was wondering if those diamond files are really so much better than the steel files to justify the double cost....
  10. Well, it's not exactly my taste, but it's a nice piece of work! you're 23?
  11. I hate you and your ugly piece of maple, Drak! I saw it, but thought it was too expensive.. oh well.. after all it's only a piece of very ugly wood.
  12. that would translate as "farterguitars.com" in Dutch. Maybe that's why they say it sucks... Serious though... those are nice guitars
  13. I'd say no. I'm a heavy bender and my guitars stay in tune pretty good. I use hard tail strats...
  14. congrats, Jeff. I was very tempted though...
  15. nah, don't be sorry... it's just that posting it here might interest other people in that wood. I do understand your enthousiasm though
  16. With all the respect deserved, what's the use of posting this stuff? It sounds distorted, almost unbearable to listen and I'm just talking about the audio quality...
  17. you can't claim an auction. I think it's not really smart to "claim" an ongoing ebay auction on a guitar builders forum...
  18. denoiser, EQ, compression, chorus, reverb, stereo imager and a limiter.. If I'd do this in my studio it'd sound way better though
  19. very nice... How do you like this: oh well.mp3 just a few audio tools on my desktop PC...
  20. yeah, that's what I keep telling myself everytime...
  21. fight fight fight!!!! I'm with you Drak. It's your wood and your guitar. When I get pissed and something won't work, I might destroy it too to loose steam. However, I don't make mistakes like you do... MWAHAHAHA
  22. Van Zandt pups...They eat kinmann's for breakfast I have the true vintage type and they sound great in any strat I tried them.
  23. testing, not mastering.. big difference
