  1. Just like Japan, you would never know it today.
  2. It could be that some mosture was on the neck before sealing...and it is starting to grow fungis.I would sand a spot and see if you can sand it out,and reseal.
  3. That neck is sweet, nice work .
  4. Just take a big hit off that Sticky joint, and it should bond ,then you should laught at things that are not there.I'am just guessing ,as I have heard it is like that. Then maybe get someone to offer you a shotgun, and shoot that bad boy. Then get some titebond orginal and glue something. There you go ,a good experence with titebond.
  5. Hey Narc, thanks for the laugh.Man , I think I could do a better job with a chain saw. This is the kind of thing that makes you go *** , who would take a job ,with no skills to do such job.I say ,take him out back and shoot him in the butt with a BB gun, that would be a good start.Oh, had to laught just because of the sheer WHAT factor.
  6. Wow, just wow...you are off to the best start I have seen.Look forward to your build.
  7. As the police ease up to Tims door......he can not hear them.
  8. You will be missed, I have my sad face on right now.Hope to hear from you in the future, and thanks for letting me pick on you from time to time.
  9. I just have to add something to this thread.Hearing a player live ,can make a big difference in what you think of their tone.Sometimes the recording is better and sometimes live is better.I heard some live music early this year, that just blew me away.Much better live, Peter Gun by Duane eddy was one of them.Just sent chills thru out your body.
  10. Kill, I really like this guitar. The mahogany is perfect ,the neck is way cool.I like the way you did the scarf.Oh, by the way ..when you expect things to go wrong ,they usually do.When things start to go bad for me,I know something good is around the coner.Just saying.Mahogany is great wood for a body or neck.It may just be me,but I think this could be one of your better builds.I am really liking it.
  11. If you are building a solid body , just make the back out of oak and use something else for the top ,I would think a oak neck has been done ,too.Try it out ,if nothing else you will get good pratice with your tools.I am in the process of redoing a guitar .Took the fret board off and top of the body,a do over if you will.It has been a good lession in progress.
  12. Avenger, that's cool..I have always done things a little different, my theory is ,if I can buy it ,why build it.This being a hobbie for me ,I try to come up with something different.Having said that ,thanks for the input.
  13. Forgot some headstock shots. Back front
  14. Here are a few new pictures.. It is still not finished, but it is close.Feel free to comment on it,as I like the input good or bad.Just so you know ,if you can not tell, it is fretless.I am already thinking of putting frets on it.
  15. Looking good Wez. ,Looks like a nother winner.
