    Maybe I dont understand bandwidth. My understanding is that it eats the bandwidth if you are viewing the thread. I was simply asking if the carrie thread was one they imply of.

    The issue there was that people gave sound advice to help the kid, he threw it back, we tried to make sure he understood, and the chastising commenced. Either way, its old news. I want the pic thing explained. Is the carrieburst thread "eating bandwidth"? Err....

    A lot of the knowledge I have is stuff I learned here, tried, and can say it works, or was bad advice, which I have given, too. As for the forum, there were problems, but it seems to be getting worse now, not better. We are losing long time members because of crap like this. I honestly wont be surprised if people start getting banned over small crap, but the real issues skate by. The whole Top Wood thread is a shining exaple of what I am talking about.

    Damn! buy the V. It appears to be made by the same people that make the import hacksons. Not bad. Besides, its a typical maple neck/rosewood FB. The body could be plywood, but you just need the neck. If the body is crap, you aint out nothin, or you could sell it on Ebay EDIT: I dint think it is made by jackson's people. I think maybe samick? Either way, not a bad deal

    you'll also need to refret.

    If you're doing alser, it needs no filler. Just buy duplicolor sandable primer, I'd get grey, a small can of say snow white, and a small can of universal black. Also pick up a big can of the Truck SUV and Van clearcoat. There's your whole paint setup, for less than $25. Dont forget a rubber sanding block and some 1500 grit.

    Tommy (USA) will do anything. The extended fretboards aren't a bad thing.
