  2. I agree with Cohen. If you find a good one, post it. Same for bad ones. Maybe we should pin a thread for that. I will say that Chits Exotic Hardwood Cache is great. Always has Korina too. And most of us offer discounts to forum members on our auctions.

  5. I sanded. Now I also do my thicknessing on figured wood with my buddy's overhead sander....no tearouts
  6. check the weight resistance. A typical neck pulls about 120 lbs with .009s on it at full tension. I think I have that right.

  11. What you are considering would be easier in most areas. making sure you rout centered and just wide enough will bw haerder than just gluing on wings
  12. My vote is for carvin. Maple board, paddle head, wilky, lockings, and the AP11 pickups can get just as snarky as a 62 strat.
  13. Hmmm....I wouldnt worry about that crack. Most BOs that I see have them there. Its usually in the paint.
