  4. you want to be careful with oils though, no need to go overboard rosewood is a fairly oily wood naturally so it rarely needs anything at all i've heard a little bore oil is brilliant for fretboards just research and you'll be fine
  5. i've mostly done gigs for fun and that i've been asked to do(but not paid) i'll soon be gigging (paid)weekly though with a new cover band i've put together
  6. lmao! future guitar o the month?

  11. i wonder....without reproductive organs does he even have sex drive at all?
  12. i just did this to my axe yesterday... just spit and a cloth(saliva is still one of the best cleaning agents) using my fingernail wrapped in the cloth to get up in the frets and to scrape the gunk off, too easy and it comes out great!
  13. guitar lessons with a good teacher are awesome, especially for inspiration usually as for sites, there's thousands! google is your friend
  14. you just need to spend more time memorizing it, it could be your method of memorizing? just take 1 section till you remember it, then move to the next as for not hearing all the notes, usually it's possible to figure it out by listening and reading the tab, kinda working it out simply using logic to take a stab at how those bits are played... and yes it all improves the more you do it
  15. transformers... all i can say is...... more than meets the eye
  16. ok i just had a listen it's a heavily structured (this to this to this bit to this bit) each bar kindof thing try breakin it down and learning it in sections slow first then slowly speeding up in increments is it technique that's getting you? like not being able to play a part fast enough or something?
  17. sti st stic stickida sti sticky? or say something if u no like
  18. i assume the question was which one if you can have one, not which one gets you the rest.... in which case it's gotta be sex cos with such sex you'd say screw money and as for the R&R........ jazz man jazz!, samba, blues, is metal included in r&r? anyway tonnes of stylin styles
  19. umm... is grain filler really THAT needed?! i mean it's a perfectly flat sanded piece of wood, sure it'll make it even flatter but damn minutely you could get away with just some sanding sealer sprayed on right? just seems sometimes people obsess over unnoticable differences (aaahhhh the flames! the flames!!)
  20. you're talking about covering a solo not improvising right? your phrasing skills are probably the thing that's holding you back but the best way to get it better is to cover more songs if you give more detail like what solos you are learning we could help more
