    the hums they provide are 2 wire and its hard to get out if you dont have something to cut all the wires out. i just havent started using the eletronics in the guitar. im re doing the intire electronics

    well what pick gaurd. If its a strat and your going throught the wood it might mess the wood up in heat or coolness but if its not going throught the wood its fine. Actually forget what i said it shouldnt be a tone or and issue at all if your not building an intire acrlyic body. Forget what i said

    acrylic but if you are looking for tone acrylic sucks. Plus the strings go sharp when you leave it next to the air conditioning because the acrylic shrinks and expands too from heat so i dont like it but thats what you need to use.

    well then i would still need to find a body. Anyone know where to get a $100 arch top body to hollow out or hollow already. I would like if someone had like a shell like if they had the bottom done and carved the middle out already, and all you had to do is put the arch top top on the bottom to make the body.

    yes the wiring sucks i have the LP next to me right now. You need to replace the intire electronics. Unless you want to keep their crapy switches

    hey i want to build a semi hallow body guitar. There was no tuitorial howto make the body. If there is a thread on this please tell me, if not then can someone tell me with pics on how to make semi hallow

    Antiquity Antiquity. Man seymour duncan Antiquity series humbuckers are the best Les Paul sound i have herd. But its your taste. I am building a guitar later this year as an experiment guitar so i can experiment with different pickups to see what goes good with what.

    well if you are looking at a $200 budget, look on ebay and look for Saga kits. They suck with their electronics but you can switch them out. The kit some people sell with shipping is about 120 for a strat or tele type and a LP goes for as cheap with shipping as 170. Well you can use the electronics in it but they suck like i said. Lets see, the kit comes with a pre-cut and routed body and fretted and nutted neck. You can paint it what ever color you want as long as you buy the paint yourself. It comes unfinished so you will need to buy a finishing coat. Its a really good deal. I got the LP style. Im customizing the intire thing. Good luck with what ever you do.

    the pickups of choice, can i get seymour duncan antiquity hums. Just want to know. I have a friend who is a lefty and ill switch out the pickups though but can you put those in or no.

    hey my samick which is a strat, is wierd on the knobs. Wehn you go to far on the either tone knob the other one moves. What can cause that. I will take it apart after im done with my new LP kit to fix it, but i curious if anyone knows what it is.

    so so so so so so so so so jellus of those guitar litch. Man its my dream to get a gibson LP but in Los Angeles they are at min. 1000 for a used sometimes. Well I makeing my kit right now. If i get the didgital camera for camp this week ill put up my progress on the paint job and re filling the fiber glass top finish. Why im saying this is because it is a LP. Man i love LPs
