  1. u guys just use jewelers saws to cut the shell? No one uses a scroll saw?

  3. what kind of glue are u using to glue it in and how are u gluing it in so it shows now seem lines? Are u working off of lots of little pieces or did u buy a sheet? If sheet how thick is it? Lots of questions.... lol

  6. looks like u did a killer job on your leds. I did leds as well, but looks like i did them differently, can i ask why u have a resistor going to every led? also they running on 9volt? is so what size are u resistors?

  8. i agree with jermy doesnt look anything like a swirl to me.
  9. i dont know about algee but i use a flush trim bit with the barring on the top. I thinks thats the only bit out there to use for flush template to body cutting.
  10. I have a spider II and its done me good for a long time. I agree you prolly want a line 6.
  11. cool what kinda of shell? and post some pics, i dont get what u mean by sides, caues all the perfling ive seen is done on the outter edge of the guitar, followed by binding wrapped around it.
  12. I searched and got nothing, has anyone on here used shell as a perfling around there guitar? If so what kind? how easy was it, and how much do u need? I want to do this on a furture project and just trying to research ahead.

  14. Ive never used a water bases finish, but i guess a new one is on the market. It sounded cool but im still a little bit curious. Can i get some opinions on this. I know jeremy wrote about water based finishs in his painting tut, is this one different from the ones u have experience with jeremy?
  15. I believe there are glues u can use to glue sheets together, that will actually melt the plastic to join the two together so you dont have any glue lines. Im gonna reseach this a little bit more.
  16. i wanna know cause i want to make a guitar like ESP made for kirk hammett. Its acrylic, but has wave machine fluid inside of it so when the body moves around the fluid moves. It can be seen here
  17. Anyone work with acrylic or plastic that has good knlowdege on how to make plastic bodys, i know all tone from a plastic would be none, but i still want one.
  18. Well, its been raining here and i havent been able to work at like all. Next week i pick woodshop back up so i will have a place in doors with all the tools i need, so expect to starting a lot of progress within the next couple of weeks or so. I Have at least been hard at work doing something guitar related, i designed my 7 string prototype. Just debating which one i like better.

  21. I forget what is the average harding/dry time for nitro from when i spray till i can play?
