I have a couple of questions myself if you dont mind. I just bought some quilted and curly maple and wherever those black spots are on your body, its REALL rough. Is it supposed to be like that? Ive never dealt with raw curly and quilted maple before. Also, is that was its supposed to look like when you "sand back"? Thannks

Well i just bought a bunch of nice looking wood from Durawoods on ebay and its all about 1/2inch thick, it that thick enough to do a carved top?

Im not going to be a jerk but i dont agree with javacody saying you should build one first. Whatever you mess up (if you do) this time it will definitely be a learning experience to improve. I like how you've been planning everything out completly.. Im not a huge acoustic buff, but I would suggest a cheap Takamine, I think their pretty decent myself and so do other people (boy do i love harmony central). On ebays theres a bunch of S-33's on ebay heres a link for one-Takamineee well i hope its turns out well

Definitely go for more. cheapo guitars hurt your feelings because they make you sound bad. I know of some companies for good cheap electrics but no acoustics. Sorry. I just have one suggestion, when i was up late a couple of nights i kept seeing the Esteban guitar kit. hahaha i loooked it up on harmony-central and i had a laugh attack. the things people said about this guitar is priceless heres the link: Esteban...haha Well long story short. A few more bucks will give you better results than this. Well I hope your chances with this chick become a little better by helping her (dont worry, we all know you want her)

They're not required at all, look at LGM's new leviathan and the new GOTM winner. They dont have the rings and neither do you . Nothings gonna blow up, but it is recommended due to the spacing in between the pickups and the routed area.

Im totally with you guys. It seems like he has a bot to do the work for him, its set up and its stupid. But the thing is hes never gonna read this. Mleh I absolutely love it. The fingerboard is to kill for. I always wanted a birdseye fingerboard but i cant find anyone selling good enough birdseye for my liking. Cant wait to see it finished. I also like the style of the body a lot. Great luck with it.

I like the guitar body but the headstock could use some minor revision. I think it should be a bit skinnier. Or maybe its jsut those dots representing the tuner holes .

I like this guitar Linkk It reminds me of a cheap schecter. for 200 USD, ill easily take that. Just take the flord rose and sell it than stare at the pretty body

I actually like that bass a lot. Its hard to find a bass that i like. But i think its amussing that they mispelled mahogany. towards the bottom it says "mahagani"
