  1. I'm so very sorry for such an old bump but the board wouldn't let me message you so this is my only choice. ANYWAY... I was just wondering if there were any of these blanks available still? thanks for your time!
  2. hmm not a guitar but... that looks great. The legs going above the top are probably the best feature as it breaks the conventions of "normal" furniture.
  3. I guess I'm just confused... If he was using a CNC machine why bother making a template?
  4. I believe this makes three times that he has mentioned stealing your guitar.
  5. I've only been here since November and I know that I've heard that at least 10 times!
  6. By hand drill do you mean manual drill or the battery/wall powered ones? But... This thing looks sick and I normally don't like em. One more question: Did you get the trans trem to set up correctly and if so how do you like it?
  7. yeah i hear ya. I need to invest in some new router bits before I start my summer project... I did all the routing on my project with (don't laugh) a dove tail bit
  8. Don't worry too much about the neck... still beats the pants of my poor excuse for a neck pocket haha
  9. Thats an interesting pickup configuration (at least to me ha). Does that have any sound benefits to it?
  10. My vote goes to walnut and black pickguard. I love the neck wood colors too the maple and padauk look great together
  11. Wow that is really stripey mahogany. Both guitars look great tho nice job
  12. Wow that's a nice finish. Whats the body on the left made of?
  13. wow that is going to be one fine guitar. I just started to build a Tele as my first build, although the only real telecaster aspect will be the body as i am doing TOM string thru bridge 3X3 headstock dual humbuckers......But enough about me I cant wait to see this done and I am very happy you went the no pickguard route, that maple is nice. Well good luck to ya hope she plays as well as she looks
  14. yea i kno. I had to make a guitar one year for school and i chose a lexan flying v acoustic. thing cost a whole lot and didnt even work ha
  15. Yeah Chardon is on the east side of Cleveland. Its about a 2 hr drive but hey the way you describe it the drive sounds like it'd be worth every penny.
