    Here's what I'd do, slowly remove the screws, buy a DiMarzio cliplok strap, re-insert screws, go guitar-flip-crazy.

    Are you dead serious? I don't know about everybody else but those pictures come up about the size of a quarter on my computer. I really can't even see the finish on his guitar.

    Well it was only a couple years ago... But kids these days don't have sense enough to think for themselves, if it's on MTV it must be good.

    order templates, a strat is a very organic shaped guitar and it would be hard to give exact measurements on all of it. If you got templates you could easily recreate the stratocaster shape several times over.

    Yes, that's what I didn't get both shows were sponsored by budweiser, both shows the bar was open everything was identical except for the artist and aparently their preference for who's in the audience.

    I think it might have been just artist request. I don't know why, that's like saying "no" to money.

    I think you spray one color then a color over that, sand the top color and you are left with that effect because the color went into the grain where the sand paper can't reach so it leaves the first color on the body and the second color in the grain, what a great effect.

    I loved Gwar when I was 13 but then again, I have odd taste for a kid. I went to a concert of theirs in Chicago, you should have seen the looks i got on the el on the way back Also, oddly enough a show where they curse,cut peoples heads off on stage and spray blood all over the audience is all ages and Classicaly influenced, intrumentalist Yngwie Malmsteen is 21+. It was the exact same venue and I wanted to go so bad, I stil don't see why it would be 21+, any ideas?

    a twenty four fret neck would work on that guitar, it would just have to be the right kind of heel.

    You can get mahogany for a good price from mammoth guitars, I think you can get quilted maple from them too but I'm not sure, they are a member of this forum. I think you should just have warmoth make the neck, that way it would be made just how you want it, made with what you want and done professionally, bodies are easy, necks take practice, precision. Plus you could even get the EVH neck contour

    You could bleach the wood to make it lighter, tung oil is a nice, easy finish, cheap aswell.

    Gulf coast: He uses a momentary, on/off switch, meaning it is just a spring loaded button, when pressed the sound cuts out, relieve the pressure and the button allows sounds to pass through, look through my topics, how to wire one of those switches is in my topics, it has pictures to help you aswell.

    the same general rout should work but the pole spacing may be different.

    Does it have a screw on back though? The tuner hole is O that big and the post is o that big, so that thing on top is just to keep it centerd and prevent wobbling. There should be a screw holding it in on the back of the headstock.

    And pore-fill the body before you seal and paint it, It'll be a nice, flatter surface, better for hand painting.

    Have you ever tried wearing down a poly finish? He could play that epi the rest of his life and not rub through the clear.

    That body shape only works with a hardtail IMHO, You know how much I LOVE that body shape though.
