Prototype #1 of the LGM line of guitars!

I like most of it but I'm not overly fond of the cut out at the back of the guitar (behind the bridge). Maybe if it was lower and was where the cable went, it'd look better. But that, of course, is only my humble opinion. Apart from that, it's incredible. -

TBH, I haven't gone looking cos I never have the money for wood. Apparently there's an exotic wood place in dublin. I think that's where we got our mahogany mantle that I just realised would make a lovely neck.......

Just set it up. It sounds like the bridge is too low. I don't have any experience with Ibanez guitars in general but it sounds like it's just a set up issue. Bring it to a shop if you're uncomfortable doing it yourself.

Neckthroughs are a personal preference thing. Some love them, some don't. Like BLS said, try some. For a european guitar shop, try Thomann . They're good with a decent delivery time.

Sounds like that tuner method is sound. Although you can only tune the lowest string in that method. In order to tune the rest of the guitar, you'll have to set the tuner back to standard.

LTD doesn't mean limited. LTD's are good guitars. Neckthrough mean the the wood the neck is made from is the middle part of the body, with extra wood attached to the sides in order to make the guitar shape amongst other things.

Hey Santa Claws, where abouts are you in Ireland? I'm in Dundalk. Where abouts did you get the wood? The routing is a bit over the top but for a 16 year old's first guitar, it ain't bad. Better than any I've made and I haven't made any!!!

As mentioned in another thread, I haven't updated this since October. Basically, I got impatient and pissed off with playing through a 10W Ibanez so I just bought an 80W amp for ?166. Might still see about building one for the craic but not for a long time. Thanks everyone for your help.
